My name is Mandy Perrymeant and I have been nominated as a Councillor in the upcoming Onkaparinga Council Elections for the ward of Mid Coast
From 14th October 2022 everyone eligible to vote in these elections will receive a Postal Ballot in the mail.
It will then be necessary for you to fill in your Ballot and post it off so it’s received no later than 10th November. Please allow at least 3 days for postage.

I have been a resident within the beautiful City of Onkaparinga for over 50 years and a mother of 2 adult sons who now have families and kids of their own. Since buying my home 18 years ago I have lived in Mid Coast ward for 18 years since buying my home but I’m now on a disability pension which means I have time to help others.
Having lived in the Onkaparinga area for most of my life so I have a real desire to improve and help this community. I am a dog lover and will try to improve things for other pet owners who want to go out and enjoy this wonder place we live in.
Recent issues such as graffiti, rubbish and debris within the community and the increasing homelessness has prompted me to campaign for the position of Councillor where I can advocate for improving the area and pave the way for social change.
We should also work against increasing Council rates or even reducing them for those who are financially vulnerable.
I’m very concerned about future generations. It feels like many people have given up so they need to know there is someone out there who cares and will look after their interests.
I have teamed up with 11 other candidates in this election who believe like I do. We are all ordinary rate payers who love their community and if we are all elected we will have every opportunity to see these changes happen.
